What happens to my deposit if the bad weather causes me to cancel my location for the event?

Although your deposit is not refundable, it is transferable. We would be glad to move your deposit to the next available date and time that you want.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes we do! We at Party People Central are extremely proud of our military who protect this country and our teachers who teach it. To show our appreciation, we offer a 10% military or teacher discount on our one hour character rentals we also offer repeat clients a choice of $25 discount or a free disk of pictures of their event. This discount can not be combined with any specials or packaging that we offer.

How can I ensure that I get my character, date and time slot that I am requesting?

The only way to ensure that you get the character, date and time slot that you want, is to immediately put down your 50% deposit. We can not hold any dates, times or characters unless we have a paid deposit.

How far will you travel? When is a traveled fee assessed?

We will travel as far as a client will pay for us to travel. A traveled fee is assessed whenever your location is more than 45 minutes away from our home base location of Sanford, NC. We charge $.40 a mile both ways plus $50 for food and incidentals.  You will know if a travel fee will be assessed when you receive your initial email from Party People NC. We now charge a $25 travel fee to the Fayetteville and Raleigh/ Durham areas.

Do you rent the costumes for others to use?

No. At this time we do not rent our costumes out for personal use. We will gladly come out to your party and entertain you while we are in the character.

What happens if my party starts late and my guest only get to see the character for a short amount of time?

We hope that does not happen. We recommend that our arrival time is 30 minutes to an hour after the planned starting time of your party.  We don’t want your guests to miss out on the main attraction either. However, if you insist that we are there at a certain time and this happens, we would only be able to stay if we are available and a new contract has been agreed upon.

I did not order pictures prior to my party, but now I would like to get them. Is that still an option?

Yes. We take pictures at most parties strictly for marketing purposes while we are there. If our designated photographer is at your event, they will probably take about 100 – 200 pictures. We choose about 20 of them to share on Facebook and our website. If you are interested, we will sell you a disc with 35 pictures on it for only $35, 50 for $50 or 100 for $75.
